Scope:
Fonds consists of photographs of historic buildings in Richmond such as churches, barns, schools, stores, and canneries.
History / Biographical:
Henning Wolfe took the photographs as part of the 1973 Canadian Inventory of Historic Buildings.
Custodial History:
The first date of acquisition in July 1996 covers the 30 images listed by Canadian Heritage as "Richmond". Graham Turnbull had acquired these images on behalf of the Richmond Heritage Advisory Committee. He inquired further of the federal agency regarding structures in the Steveston area and discovered there were a further 24 images listed as "Steveston" by Canadian Heritage. These additional images were acquired by Mr. Turnbull and added to the original accession on September 30 1999.
