Scope:
The collection consists of photographs of a wide variety of Richmond subjects acquired and arranged by volunteers in preparation for the Richmond municipal centennial in 1979. Subjects include: agriculture; churches; commercial development; construction; fishing; floods; industry; municipal facilities; municipal officials; pioneer families; schools; sports; and transportation
Custodial History:
Photographs in this collection were acquired by the municipality of Richmond from a variety of community sources and held by the Richmond Museum prior to the establishment of the Richmond Archives in 1983.
